Our tinctures are produced by steeping herbs in 80 proof gluten free vodka for 6 weeks. The alcohol extracts the active ingredients of the herb in an easily useable form. The dosage for each type of tincture depends on the herb, but it's generally advisable to start with only a drop or two per day if you haven't used the product before to test for sensitivities. Some herbs contain active ingredients that interact with prescription medications, so please speak to your healthcare practitioner before taking any supplement with medication or if you have a history of medical problems.
